Lauren Newton

Hi everyone! I am currently a senior standing student at CSUF and am finishing up my bachelor's degree in Data Science and Analytics at the Mihaylo School of Business and Economics. I am also a student assistant with the Women's Leadership Program that the business school operates. I also work part time as an Office Manager at a YMCA, so I've definitely got a full plate, but that's how I like it! After college I hope to one day work in the tech field developing AI programs. When I'm not in school or handling sorority business I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, yoga, watching the Bachelorette (GO BLAKE !!), or eating unhealthy amounts of Pizza Press. I found my home at Sigma Kappa on a whim, I had never thought sorority life was going to be my thing, but it turned out to be just that. I make time for and enjoy Sigma Kappa because of how much I see myself within our values, because I've met the women who will be my bridesmaids, and because of the amazing opportunities I've been given to grow!

Leslie Catalan

Executive Vice President

As a second year student, I am excited to promote our values and all that our chapter upholds by educating, empowering and proactively leading our sisters to a successful experience with Sigma Kappa. I am currently a Business Administration Major with a concentration in Human Resource Management, in hopes to one day support a firm's senior management team and employees as Chief of Staff. I'm also involved in CSUF's Women's Leadership Program on campus, hence I enjoy participating in opportunities that allow me to empower women and support one another. On my free time, I enjoy finding local hole-in-the-wall coffee shops or taking day trips of local touristic places.

HaiIey is the Vice President of Communications. She helps to facilitate communication between the executive council and chapter, the Epsilon Tau chapter and National Headquarters, and Sigma Kappa with other chapters on campus! She also maintains records throughout the year. Here's a little bit about her: I am a third year at Fullerton and in Sigma Kappa! I am a Kinesiology major with a concentration in clinical movement science with hopes to be a sports doctor for a professional team. I'm excited to strengthen and develop our chapter and sisters as a whole. When I'm not studying or taking roll I like to work out, spend time at the beach, and travel with my friends.

Stephanie Coulter

Vice President of Programming

Hello :) My name is Stephanie and I am a third year Child and Adolescent Development major. My goal is to be an elementary school teacher in the future. Currently, I work at an after school childcare and love those kids with all my heart. If you ask how work was I can usually talk about them for the next hour. I love traveling and I just recently went to Italy. I would love to backpack through Europe and experience a variety of different cultures. I used to be a musical theatre major so I love all things singing, dancing, and acting. Sigma Kappa has given me a home away from home at a school that I love. This group of women have challenged me to become the best version of myself and I am so happy to have found my best friends here.

I am a Communications major with a concentration in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration. When I'm not doing any work related to school or sorority, I enjoy going to the beach, finding new food places, binging Netflix shows, and catching up with friends. These past three years in Sigma Kappa have introduced me to so many amazing people and opportunities and has helped me gain a level of confidence that was nonexistent until I joined this chapter. I look forward to making more amazing memories with my sisters this year and in the years to come!

I am going into my third year at CSUF as a Dance major with a minor in Kinesiology and I am loving every minute! I also have the privilege of teaching all styles of dance to children ranging from ages 3 to 18. I am looking forward to what the next school year has in store. Sigma Kappa has become my home and it has allowed me to grow into a much more confident woman. While I like to keep myself busy, during my free time I enjoy spontaneous trips to Disneyland and binging The Office on Netflix.

Katherine Diep

Vice President of New Member Education

Going into my senior year at Cal State Fullerton and third year in Sigma Kappa, I am so excited to see what incredible things are to come! I am a Business Administration major with a dual concentration in Information Systems and Finance. I am also very involved with the Accounting Society and Mihaylo College of Business and Economics on campus. Outside of school, I work as an accounting assistant and dog sitter. Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are: spending time with family and friends, going to Disneyland, having beach days and bonfires, watching Netflix and Hulu, traveling to and exploring new places, and working out. Post graduation, I hope to work as an IT Auditor for a Big 4 public accounting firm. I am so grateful that I joined Sigma Kappa and found an amazing group of ladies that I get to call my sisters!

Jamie Apodaca

Vice President of Membership

I am excited to make the most of my last year as a Sigma Kappa, but more importantly I hope to bring home a new fall class that exemplifies our values. Within this chapter, I have found a place where I belong and bonds with sisters to last a life time. It's been a privilege to be surrounded by women that support and empower each other. Becoming a Sigma Kappa has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Outside of Sigma Kappa, I am currently a senior standing Communicative Disorders major and work at a middle school as a paraprofessional. It is fulfilling to be able support children with disabilities. There are so many misconceptions about disabilities, and I feel as though students teach me more than I can teach them. My goal is to go to grad school and to become a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I know that my time in Sigma Kappa has given me the skills needed to be successful in the future.

As your VP of Scholarship, I am hear to help everyone be able to excel in their academics here at CSUF.
